In 1896, individuals passionate about history and culture of the Pikes Peak region came together to collect and preserve artifacts and stories of this community. For 130 years, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) has expanded on this vision.
In honor of this 130th anniversary, the CSPM is launching the 1896 Legacy Society to recognize those passionate about preserving and sharing our community’s history by sustaining the museum for years to come through a planned gift to our endowment funds held by the CSPM Foundation.
As part of the 1896 Legacy Society, members will enjoy an annual recognition event, estate planning information, and recognition in our annual report. Become a member of the 1896 Legacy Society by supporting the museum in your estate plans.

Ways to Plan Your Gift
Bequests
The most common and simple type of planned gift is a bequest, which can be added to your will or living trust in a single sentence.
