Plan a Field Trip – Summer Groups

Summer Discovery Program

Junior Docents lead a Sensing History program
  • Kinder – 5th Grade
  • 10 – 50 Students; Require 1 Adult Chaperone for Every 8 Children (chaperones must be 18+ and trained to manage behavior and guide students through the museum)
  • Tuesdays-Saturdays; 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.; 1.5 hours

Groups will be welcomed and receive a brief introduction. In smaller, chaperone led, groups explore the exhibits using our self-guided packet. Depending on the day we will also have a craft and volunteer-led activity stations. Groups larger than 50 will be asked to schedule two separate visits on different days.

Makaela Worden, Education Assistant, is pointing out toys in a display case. There are five children around the case looking into the case and listening to the presenter.
