You membership gives the Museum a source of support and gives you great benefits including free programs and lectures, members only previews and store discounts. Find out more on becoming a member here.

Give Online
Give the gift of history by supporting the Museum with an unrestricted donation at any level. Gifts can be made in honor or memory of a loved one, and can be made by using your Visa or Mastercard. Make an online donation here.

Exhibit and Program Support
Become a supporter of our signature exhibits and programs. Your generosity will be acknowledged with your name in the exhibit or on program materials for as long as they are publically presented. Our exhibits and programs are signature features of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, bringing our collections and research into public view for more than fifty thousand visitors each year. With a gift of $2,500 or $5,000, you can be recognized by name as a program or exhibit supporter. Benefactors through El Paso County Enterprise Zone
With a gift of $500 or more, you can receive substantial tax benefits and an array of exclusive membership benefits including reduced rates for special events and a special clock tower tour.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is designated as a project of the El Paso County Enterprise Zone, which seeks to promote economic development in our community.  Donors who make their gifts of $500 or more to CSPM through the Enterprise Zone are eligible to receive a Colorado state tax credit of 25% of their donation amount, in addition to regular federal and state tax benefits.

Cash gifts to the Enterprise Zone must be made by check.

Example:  $500 Contribution Direct Gift Enterprise Zone Gift
  – Federal Tax Savings (35% tax bracket) $175.00 $175.00
  – Colorado Tax Savings at 4.63% $46.30 $46.30
  – Enterprise Zone Tax Credit  0 $125.00
 Net Cost of a $500 Contribution to Donor $278.70 $153.70

Simply write a check for your gift of $500 or more to “El Paso County Enterprise Zone” and list “Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum” in the memo line.

Enterprise Zone donors will be required to file their Colorado State tax return electronically and will need to provide CSPM with either their social security number or their Colorado Account Number when a donation is made. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to obtain your Colorado Identification Number.

Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum staff will complete the paperwork necessary for you to receive the tax credit and will forward your check to the Enterprise Zone. El Paso County will issue your Certificate of Qualified Enterprise Zone Contribution Form with an authorized signature, serving as a receipt for the entire amount of your donation. Planned Gifts
Please consider remembering the Museum in your will.  Bequests account for 8% of all charitable giving in the United States and are a wonderful opportunity to share your legacy through one or a number of charitable institutions.  Other ways to contribute include beneficiary designations (life insurance and retirement plans) and securities. Gifts of securities can provide a current income tax deduction as well as relief from long-term capital gains tax. Download planning documents below.
