Ambassadors of the CSPM – Table Captains
Table Captains are essential to the success of this event. They inspire others to join and participate in the Gift of History. We want to thank them for being a part of this historic fundraising year:
Every year, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) hosts an annual fundraiser to support the Museum’s exhibits, educational programming and the preservation of its object and archival collection. This year, the CSPM celebrated 125 years of igniting curiosity and helping the community discover their story.
We raised $120,929 in donations and commitments from our Gift of History Leaders, supporters, and community. Thank you for supporting the CSPM during this significant milestone!

Gift of History Leaders
The Gift of History Leaders kicked off this campaign by contributing more than 11,000 towards the campaign.
Gift of History Launch Party and Anniversary Celebration
The anniversary celebration and launch party kicked off the Gift of History Campaign on Thursday, August 5. Guests enjoyed exploring exhibits after-hours, a special Curbside Culture performance by Roma Ransom, a bespoke 125th Anniversary cocktail crafted by Lee Spirits, and a photo booth with Pikes Peak Library District.
“This was a great way to kick off our campaign,” said Chrys Fotenos, CSPM Board President. “As we celebrate 125 years, we look forward to continued community support that enables the Museum to reflect on our history for years to come,” continued Fotenos.
Mayor John Suthers spoke at the event, “As the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum turns 125 years old, it’s an excellent time to rally around this treasure and encourage others to do the same. The Gift of History fundraiser is critical to supporting the museum and its important role in our community.”
The CSPM turns 125
This year’s online event celebrated the CSPM turning 125 years old. The video features staff members, donors, supporters, and exhibit collaborators discussing the institution’s history and why the CSPM is important in our community.
Thank you for supporting the Gift of History!
