Gift of History
The Gift of History is the museum’s largest fundraiser of the year. Visit our website at www.cspm.org/giftofhistory or donate online at Gift of History. If you are interested in sponsoring the Gift of History, please contact Diane Barber Stine at diane.stine@coloradosprings.gov or (719) 385-5633.
Enterprise Zone
The CSPM is part of the El Paso County Enterprise Zone. Contribute $250 or more to be eligible to receive an additional 25% Colorado state income tax credit for 2026. Your donation must be processed by December 31, 2026.
The CSPM can accept El Paso County Enterprise Zone credit card donations online. When processing your online donation at www.cspm.org/donate, please indicate on the donation form that you would like it to processed through this program.
You can also donate by check by making it payable to the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. In the memo, note El Paso County Enterprise Zone with the last four digits of your SSN.

IRA Charitable Rollovers
Have an Individual Retirement Account and need to make required minimum distributions (RMD)? If you are 70.5 or older, creating a gift from your IRA is an impactful way to support the CSPM. Please support the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum through an IRA rollover, but you must act before December 31st to take advantage of it. Avoid taxes when you transfer funds from your IRA directly to CSPM. You can transfer up to $100,000 this year to a qualified nonprofit, and your gift counts against your required distribution, reducing your income and taxes.
