Little Learners: Expressing History

Little Learners (ages 3-5) and their favorite grownup are invited to learn and play through games, crafts, songs, and history challenges. These programs are designed to help young learners discover and practice essential development skills, all while exploring local history!

In this month’s program, we’ll work on the Colorado Early Learning & Development Guidelines of exploring the process of creating works of art. Participants are encouraged to dress to get messy! Join Shannon Dunn, an artist featured in our 50% of the Story  exhibit, to explore and create action painting. This type of painting is a form of abstract expressionism that uses the movement of the body and objects to create dynamic works of art.
