Mission: The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) exists to build a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region by preserving and sharing our cultural history.

Vision: The CSPM will be the source for igniting curiosity and inspiring discovery among all residents and visitors.

Governance

The CSPM is a public- private partnership with the City of Colorado Springs and the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department of the City of Colorado Springs. It is currently governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of community leaders, who are serving diligently to implement Vision 2023, the Museum’s Strategic Plan.

The Gift of History Campaign officially begins on Thursday, August 5. While we won’t be having an in-person breakfast this year, our online Peer-to-Peer Campaign allows you to ask friends, family, and colleagues to support an important cause– the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum.

On the 25th Anniversary of Colorado Springs, a group of passionate individuals came together to create the El Paso County Pioneers Association.  These community members began collecting the artifacts and stories of the Pikes Peak region’s earliest settlers. For 125 years, the CSPM has expanded on this mission to building a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region by preserving and sharing our cultural history.

The success of the campaign relies on our enthusiastic “table captains” who help spread awareness and raise our goal of $80,000 for the CSPM by August 31, 2021.
