Exciting News-- $130,967 Raised!

The Gift of History is the museum’s major fundraising event of the year! We asked our community to contribute critical funds to support our mission to build a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region by preserving and sharing our cultural history. Our goal was to raise $100,000 by August 31. We have exciting news! Together, we exceeded our goal and raised $130,967 to fund our exhibits, programs and collections that reflect our region’s history at the CSPM.

Gift of History Reception

As part of the Gift of History, the CSPM brought together 120 passionate individuals of history and culture to explore the CSPM’s museum and hear from staff how their contribution will make a meaningful impact for our 100,000 visitors. Special presenters Mayor Yemi Mobolade, 50% Artist Vashti Mims, CSPM Board President Sam Eppley, and CSPM Vice President Nancy Bernard shared with guests their personal connection with the Museum while providing fundraising updates. By the end of the event, we raised over $100,000.

Thank you James and Helen McCaffrey Charitable Trust and Harold C. Ingersoll Fund!

The James and Helen McCaffrey Charitable Trust and Harold C. Ingersoll Fund matched every donation received on and after August 22 up to $38,000. This meant that a donation of $10 became a $20 contribution supporting the CSPM’s exhibits, programs and collections.
