This month we are thrilled to honor the H.A. & Mary K. Chapman Foundation for their generous support of the work of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. Specifically, the Chapman Foundation gift was a significant contribution to the development and installation of our newest exhibit, Until Forever Comes: This is Ute Homeland. This groundbreaking exhibit, created through a five year consultation process with the three-sister Ute Tribes, includes a wide range of contemporary materials, video installations, touchscreen interactives, and a vibrant gallery experience.
Additionally, with the timely support from the Chapman Foundation, the staff of the CSPM are currently developing our forthcoming 250/150 commemorative exhibit titled, Freedom to Thrive: The American Experiment in Colorado Springs, which opens in late Spring of 2026. We are extremely grateful for the deeply impactful support of the Chapman Foundation, allowing us to create exhibits that connect life-long residents, newcomers, and visitors alike to the rich, complex, and unique history and culture of the Pikes Peak region. Please join us in thanking once again the H.A. and Mary K. Chapman Foundation.
