COS 150 – “The Incident” Screening & Conversation

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum and Colorado 150 Film Festival proudly present a special screening of The Incident in the historic Division I Courtroom on Thursday, August 13 from 5 – 7:30 p.m.. The historic 1903 El Paso County Courthouse served as the set for this acclaimed World War II Drama.

“The Incident” follows a small-town lawyer Harmon Cobb who is reluctantly assigned to defend a German POW accused of murdering the local doctor. As the trial unfolds, Cobb uncovers deeper corruption within the POW camp, testing his ethics and resolve. With strong performances from Walter Matthau and an engaging mystery, critics praise it as a well-acted, historically grounded TV movie worth watching.
