CSPM Annex Opens at Plaza of the Rockies

Beginning July 25, 2023, the CSPM will start an eight-month, $6.2 million capital project to install a state-of-art HVAC system. Additionally, the project will allow the museum to create a new exhibition gallery, renovate an existing gallery, and design and construct a publicly-viewable collections processing and exhibit preparation workspace — all while preserving our historic 1903 El Paso County Courthouse. This historic project will transform and expand how the Museum shares Pikes Peak regional history. The CSPM is committed to fulfilling our mission of, “building a lasting connection to the Pikes Peak region…” throughout this extensive project by operating an annex exhibits and program space nearby.
