The Historic Preservation Alliance of Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum are proud to announce a not to be missed three-part digital lecture series. Throughout the month of June, regional scholars will present their research on key aspects of the fight for women’s suffrage in Colorado and in the United States. ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Katherine Scott Sturdevant, Pikes Peak Community College senior history professor, has long taught, presented, and written Colorado and women’s history. She has spoken, published, and edited for the Pikes Peak Library District Special Collections annual regional history symposia and books since they began. She serves on the planning committees for both of the major local events recognizing the Centennial of American Women’s Suffrage.
