Map and Blueprint Collections

Historic Maps

Several hundred rare and historical maps of the region are housed in the Starsmore Center for Local History. The collection includes: local, regional, state, railroad and USGS maps. You can also navigate dynamic maps that allow you to go back in time to understand how neighborhoods, businesses, climate and transportation have shaped our community by visiting our Story of Us online exhibit.

Blueprints

The Starsmore Center for Local History also houses blueprints of various buildings throughout the Pikes Peak Region. The collection includes blueprints from local architects such as A.J. Smith, Thomas MacLaren, John Wallace, and more.

Once you identify resources to help your research, contact the Starsmore Center for Local History: sclh@springsgov.com. Include any names, dates, businesses and other information to help clarify your research topic. We receive dozens of requests each week and work to answer the requests in a timely manner. Please allow 7-10 business days for a response. Appointments may need to be scheduled several weeks in advance.
