The History
Founded as a collecting institution in 1896, today the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum builds a lasting connection to preserve and share our cultural history. The CSPM is fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, a recognition only received by 3% of the nation’s museums.
The preservation of the artifacts and archival materials is our top priority. In order to focus on the protection and preservation of our collections, the CSPM will pause actively collecting artifacts and archival materials during this time.

Build our Future
The CSPM is currently in a transformative moment in our 127-year history. After the HVAC Renovation, we want to share more stories, display more artifacts, and provide more opportunities for visitors to explore our local history. Donate today to launch the museum into this next phase.
